𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is celebrated on the last Thursday of every September, on September 29 this year, to honor the tireless work of the international maritime industry workers, and to provide an opportunity to focus attention on the importance of shipping and other maritime activities.

𝗘𝗗𝗖 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝘁: it surely represents an ambitious initiate for economic and social transformation towards a more sustainable, just and inclusive development, a vision that EDC values positively since we understand that among its objectives, it includes the support for an equally sustainable employment, which respects the right of workers and guarantees them a fair wage, safe working conditions and a perspective of ongoing stability and training.

But fair competitive conditions at a global level in our environmental are essential.
