A delegation from the European Dockworkers Council (EDC) is currently in Brussels to hold key meetings with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to discuss the priorities and challenges faced by dockworkers and port workers across Europe.

During these discussions, the EDC delegation will highlight critical issues such as the defense of fair working conditions, workplace safety and security, and the need to safeguard labor rights and jobs against the automation, and in the face of  regulatory and economic changes impacting European ports.

The EDC reaffirms its commitment to representing and protecting the interests of Dockworkers in European decision-making processes, ensuring that dockworkers’ voices are heard and promoting a sustainable and fair port sector for all.
