The united action of the EDC aims to ensure that improving the wellbeing of workers and their families is a priority.
The EDC promotes the interests of Dockers and Dockworkers in Europe through its participation in all European organisations; this includes the sectoral social dialogue committee, forums, consultation bodies and evaluation committees.
The EDC likewise is meant to be a decision voice in any European and International organizations on issues related to European dockers and dockworkers’ interests.
